CEP 817 Learning Technology by Design
Spring Semester 2013 Instructors: Punya Mishra, Laura Terry, & Catalina Park Course Description: This course explored all elements related to the importance of design in technology. One of the most important lessons taken from this course was that technology can play a significant role in education, but its effectiveness is a direct result of the design. The many different elements of design, everything from layouts and formats to color schemes and content, were analyzed through online discussions. As part of this class, I created an online portfolio for the different modules and utilized the elements of design to create an interactive learning project that I can use with my AP Biology students. |
